July 1st is the International PUT A SMILE ON YOUR PROFILE Day!
What is it all about?
Its simple – all you have to do to participate on July 1st is to put a smile or smiley somewhere on any one of your social media profiles – on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, whatever. Thats it!
All you have to do is put a smile or a smiley emoticon somewhere on your profile where others will see it – you can even just post a smiley in your Facebook status update 
Or you can change your Facebook profile pic to one of you with a massive cheesy, cheeky, saucy grin! Or post it in your photos or add a box or whatever. Retweet the smiley on Twitter or post it to your favourite bands’ Myspace profile. We’ll have some badges for you to use too. You can also post jokes and funny pictures or even send your friends a message reminding them you love them – you know that will make them smile for sure! 
Whats the point? Well, we’re sick of seeing all the gloomy, negative, grumpy status updates that only spread the gloom and negativity. Lets send out a wave of positivity for a change. A small ripple of cheers may just grow into something big! We all know a simple smile from a stranger can change our day. And when we smile its glow spreads deep down into the rest of us. So fill the day with smiles, on the internet and in the real world.
We’ll probably have a competition too, for the Smiliest Profile – so send us a link to your Facebook/Myspace/Twitter profile or a screen shot. We’ll post the best ones on this page and people will be able to vote.. Not sure what the prize will be yet, but it definitely be something that makes you smile!
